Wedding Photography Wet Weather Backup

Instead of heavy, pouring rain, we were presented with sizzling unseasonal heat for the time of year. This is Melbourne- and the cool interior with it's dark lighting provided a welcome refuge from the scorching heat outside.

Take some time to research locations in advance, and have a short list of two or three in sensible proximity to your wedding venue and reception centre- don't make it a trek through town which will only cost you valuable shooting time.

Selecting a backup wedding photography location will give you more variety in your photography, be mindful of the venue's decor and your wedding color theme.

Be in contact with your backup venue just prior to the day, and make a visit in person- to see that things are still as you remembered them, you don't wantto be expecting an olde worlde venue filled with rustic charm, and walk in on the day to discover that it has become a techno cafe.
