Montsalvat Wedding Photographer Images- from a wedding held in the beautiful gallery above the Great Hall. This glorious Autumn day saw golden sunlight, and soft pastel tones- and wasn't the bride's dress both spectacular, and suited to this absolutely venue!

Wedding Photography of a Montsalvat Ceremony in the Upper GalleryMontsalvat Wedding Photographer Melbourne Image of a Candid Ceremony Moment

The Montsalvat wedding photography shown above, is from a ceremony in the gallery directly above the Great Hall. Montsalvat seems to have been made with the wedding photographer's interests looked after. Perfect light seems to be the order of the day, in any conditions. The opacity of the stained glass windows reveal just enough of the scene outside to set the mood, but not too much that the wedding photographer cannot keep the ceremony as the main focal point of the image.

The Montsalvat wedding photos shown above, demonstrate that the venue offers many unique angles for capturing compositions that are unusual and creative. Back into the great outdoors- and we've made use of some of the breathtaking surrounds of the venue- but first- we snuck away into the Gallery for the pic shown below left! Our solar powered smoke machine worked overtime, to create the magical effect you see in the photo below left.

The wedding photography opportunities throughout the grounds outnumber the time available- and in this instant we had a chance to shoot behind the Great Hall, in the balcony area. This is like a treasure trove of garden photography settings. There are so many natural foliage frames used by wedding photographers to provide vital interest to the pictures, and frame the wedding couple.

The wedding photography opportunities at Montsalvat certainly don't go down with the sun. At night the venue offers lots of mini sites for photographers. Lots of stunning atmospheric lighting, and photography settings make this an after-dark wonderland for Montsalvat wedding photographers.

Wedding photography at Montsalvat- window reflection of bridal couple

The wedding photo shown above, was made using the light from a single overhead lamp,, shining onto the bride and groom, as their reflection was being bounced back from a window. The conveniently located artist's studio was far wnough away from the reception to suggest that the picture could have been taken anywhere.

The Montsalvat wedding photography in this gallery shows a range of mixed colour temperature lighting at play. The unique cross curve of the wildly different light in the photo above, shows the scene captured with a low kelvin setting, and the couple lit with a higher kelvin setting, all in the one image.

These factors are responsible for the differing color casts throughout the image. In instances where the colors work to complement each other, this cross-processed look provides a nice effect.

There is one single tungsten light source at work here- nothing else was used to light the couple. Montsalvat has an absolute abundance of pictorial opportunity like this- wedding phtoographers don't have to look far to fnd all the photographic opportunities there!
